The 2020 Kia Optima is compatible with both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Apple CarPlay® allows you to access directions, make calls, send and receive texts, and listen to music or podcasts. These features can be accessed by using Siri®. Android Auto™ allows you to access your apps, send and receive texts, use Google Maps™, and listen to music. These features can be accessed through voice command using Google Assistant. Both apps need to be downloaded onto your phone to fully work. If your device is compatible, place your phone in the front console to charge it wirelessly.

If you want to stay connected to your Kia even when you’re not in it, get the UVO link app. Remote Start with Climate Control allows you to start your engine and warm or cool down the cabin from inside your home or office. Remote Lock/Unlock allows you to lock or unlock your doors from your phone when you forgot to lock them with your key fob. Points of Interest allows you to add your favorite places on your phone and then they will sync with your Kia with turn-by-turn directions.
