Does the 2020 Kia Telluride Come Standard with All-Wheel Drive?
Making its debut for 2020, the award-winning Telluride is already impressing drivers with its fantastic capability, impressive performance and style. As one of the largest new SUVs to hit the market this year, drivers can expect the Telluride to be extremely versatile. But, does the 2020 Kia Telluride come standard with all-wheel drive?
Unfortunately, the 2020 Kia Telluride does not offer the Active On-Demand All-Wheel Drive system as a standard feature. However, the good news is that drivers can implement the convenient all-wheel drive feature for each of the four available trims, the LX, S, EX and SX.
Drive Modes in the 2020 Kia Telluride
Along with adding more control and convenience for slick or rugged terrain, as well as bad weather, the new 2020 Kia Telluride offers 4 different on-road drive modes to choose from, including Comfort, Eco, Sport and Smart. However, drivers can also switch to the Snow setting when dealing with driving in the snow.
There are slight differences in performance with the Telluride lineup when choosing between front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. For example, the new standard Telluride models offer a fuel economy rating of 20 city/26 highway/23 combined mpg. This, unfortunately, goes down slightly with all-wheel drive equipped, offering a fuel economy rating of 19 city/24 highway/21 combined mpg.
