Fuel Economy of the 2020 Kia Forte

One of the first new sedans to grace the Kia lineup for the 2020 model year, the new Forte is back and better than ever with fantastic performance and plenty of style. However, where the Forte always shines is with its efficiency. That’s why we wanted to highlight the fuel economy of the 2020 Kia Forte.

For the 2020 model year, the new Kia Forte is available in six trim levels, including the standard FE trim, along with the LXS, GT-Line, EX, GT and GT M/T models. Between these trims, Kia offers two different transmission options which impact the fuel economy of the new Forte.

The 2020 Kia Forte equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission offers a fuel economy rating of 27 city/37 highway/31 combined mpg. With 2020 Kia Forte vehicles with the Intelligent Continuously Variable Transmission (IVT), the Forte gets a boost in efficiency with a 31 city/41 highway/35 combined mpg rating.
