Last week, the 2019 Kia Optima made its debut at the 2018 New York International Auto Show to rave reviews and tons of driver excitement! For years, the Optima has been one of Kia’s most popular models and one of the most successful car models on the market. As of now, no exact date for the 2019 Kia Optima’s release has been revealed by Kia yet, but estimates are around June of 2018 is when drivers can expect. What’s New About the 2019 Kia Optima?
For 2019, the Kia Optima didn’t receive a major overhaul but a subtle and refreshing suite of updates and modifications. Drivers familiar with the Kia Optima will notice the differences but others who are new may not catch them as quickly.
For the interior, the 2019 Kia Optima will feature an available European-style sport leather seating, perfect for those looking to differentiate their Optima and really feel like they’re in a sport car! Also new on the interior is the new UVO telematics and infotainment tiered system. Now, there are three separate UVO systems with different functionalities for drivers to choose from, UVO play, UVO link and UVO link with Navigation.
Finally, the 2019 Kia Optima is going to be the safest edition of the model yet thanks to its wealth of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). More of these outstanding features and technologies are now standard so that drivers don’t have to pay more than in previous years!
